The BioPak 240 Revolution was designed to keep personnel safer, more comfortable, and fully aware of operational status.
Safer construction:
- Stainless steel fiber-reinforced housing provides for a mechanical and electronically robust design
- Hardened breathing chamber
- Fail-Safe solid core carbon dioxide scrubber system with integral seal eliminates user filling mistakes and ensures proper absorbent dosing and positioning
- Manual quick disconnect prevents O2 loss if the gauge line is damaged
- Flame-rated harness available featuring Kevlar and metal buckles

Better monitoring of oxygen supply and unit status:
- Pneumatic pressure gauge monitors O2 status and sets off alarm at 25% of service life
- LED warning display in the gauge housing provides color-coded alerts for normal, low battery, and 25% to end of service.
- Temperature sensor alerts user to check if coolant canisters were installed at start-up
- Redundant and isolated mechanical and electrical alarm system provides added layer of safety
